You know, that big Oracle? The database people and the like? Well apparently they have this yearly convention. And it happens to be...at the same time and in the same place as my mass spec instrument training. Booking the hotel, a wee bit more expensive than normal. Good news, I do't pay for it, bad news, my work better book that room soon. Or else.
